Part of the Waikiki Marine Life Conservation District, Queens Beach offers the best Waikiki Beach snorkeling for underwater enthusiasts, with reef fish here much larger and in bigger schools.

Surfing at Queens Beach

While surfing is popular all over Waikiki Beach, Queens Beach is home to gentle waves closer to shore, and you’ll find many outfits offering surfing lessons here.

And further up is the popular Queens, a favorite of intermediate surfers.

Sunbathing

With finely powdered golden sands and plenty of shade from the tall and swaying palm trees, you’ll find plenty of secluded spots to spread your beach towel and catch some rays!

Not into surfing? Swimming in the warm tropical waters off Queens Beach shore is a great way to cool off.

The Waikiki Aquarium, Kapiolani Park and Honolulu Zoo are also nearby and a great way to keep the kids occupied.

As with the other Waikiki beaches, finding something eat is usually not a problem. But if you’re picky, try Tiki’s Grill & Bar or Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar, both of which offer some delicious dishes.
