Parking is a nuisance and your best option is to bite the bullet and use the paid parking facilities.

Good parking options are:

  • Zoo Parking Lot: Located near the eastern end of Waikiki, close to Kapiolani Park with reasonable rates for all-day parking.
  • Waikiki Shell Parking Lot: Another option near the zoo and park area, usually the best backup option when other spots are full.
  • Hotel Parking: Many hotels offer paid parking for non-guests.
